Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking an individual who will partner with operations leadership in the implementation of Stantec’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) program to support the 2,750 employees of the Environmental Services Business Operating Unit (BOU) in the United States (US). The HSSE team is looking for an inspiring, motivated individual who can champion our HSSE program and provide fit-for-purpose solutions for our Environmental Services BOU and its clients.
This is a full-time position that will report to an HSSE Director of Operations. Work hours will reflect the requirements of the geography. The opportunity will be based out of one of our larger offices in the US.
Your Key Competencies
+ Act as a highly regarded leader, thought partner and a source of counsel and advice on HSSE for the ES BOU in the US.
+ Partner with change leaders and managers in planning, implementing, and evaluating actions.
+ Able to articulate and demonstrate safety as a core value.
+ Assist in the development of strategic plans to advance our HSSE program.
+ Collaborate in the development of creative ideas and solutions based on a range of perspectives and use each team member’s expertise and work style to build consensus.
