Our office in Montville, ME is currently looking for an individual who is excited to be on the front lines of solar’s rapid growth to expand our ability to connect with our customers through the Solar Advisor position.
This candidate will assist in managing all incoming leads for ReVision Energy’s Montville Branch and provide follow-up with customers after they have completed an installation with ReVision. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
The candidate must possess or be able to acquire a basic operational and design-specific understanding of each clean energy product that we offer. A successful Solar Advisor must be able to explain the technologies we use to help customers realize their clean energy goals and the benefits for home & business owners in various situations. They will connect with our customers after completion of their installation to congratulate them, provide resource assistance to address any questions they have, set up additional site visits as requested, and encourage them to become solar champions for their neighbors and friends.
This position requires excellent communication skills, passion for our mission, responsiveness, attention to detail, and high level of computer prowess.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Keep our mission-driven focus top of mind with all interactions with customers
Respond to inbound web leads, phone leads, and greet walk in clients visiting our showroom
Educate individuals and businesses about clean energy technologies
Foster the relationship between ReVision Energy and all our leads with the idea all leads have the potential to become future Solar Champions
Record all customer interactions and schedule site evaluations for our sales team using online CRM tool
Prepare the solar design specialist for scheduled site evaluations by collecting electric bills, fuel usage, satellite images and other pertinent information
Utilize photo editing and design software to create renderings for residential solar projects
Work with the marketing team to help out with events
CRITICAL SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS:
Must have excellent customer service and email communication skills
Excellent phone skills; enthusiastic attitude conveyed over the phone and ability to manage high volume of conversations per day is required
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize numerous opportunities effectively
Must have strong organizational skills
Must be able to work self-guided in a fast paced and growing environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other commonly used software, including internet and email – must be able to handle high e-mail volume
A high-level comfort with technology is required
Must bring a positive attitude; thoughtful ideas for growth of the company are encouraged
Interest in the technology we provide and ability to acquire a basic understanding of how it works
Previous customer service experience preferred
