Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical and building control systems and service work in new or remodeled facilities.Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical devices, control panels, relays, conduits, and switches ensuring proper electrical operation of facilities-related equipment.Interprets electrical blueprints.Uses meter and electrical circuit testing equipment.Responsible for wiring and control schematics.Responsible for reading and understanding installation instructions and wiring diagrams for metal fabrication equipment.Qualifications/RequirementsState of Maine Electrician’s License – Journey level is required, but a Master level is preferred.Completed electrical apprenticeship or technical school program is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or commercial setting.Willingness to be a backup technician for a local solar facility.Experience working with:120v and 240v power systems480v 3-phase circuitsLow voltage systems for building HVAC controlsEstablishing new circuits in existing buildings, calculating loads, pulling wire, and installing conduitsTroubleshooting non-working circuitsBuilding access control systemsBurglar and/or fire alarm systemsCianbro is an employee-owned, tobacco-free, equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate based on marital status, race, color, creed, gender, sex, religion, national origin, gender identity, age, veteran status, union affiliation, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, or other legally protected status.
