Cianbro is seeking a safety-minded Mechanics Helper.
Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and eliminate all hazards associated with all work tasks.Work with mechanics to Inspect/test, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to cranes, dirt equipment, and other miscellaneous heavy construction equipment.Work in the wash bay to ensure that equipment is clean, fueled, and inspected before being sent to a customer.Continually maintain an organized, clean work area.Work with the service writer to update data cards with part numbers.Continually implement new ways to complete tasks safely and more efficiently.Qualifications/RequirementsBasic knowledge of equipment.Consistently maintain a positive attitude.Enjoy working in a team atmosphere and collaborating with others.Pay close attention to detail, be a self-starter, and be able to communicate with other members of the team effectively.Be mechanically inclined and eager to learn via on-the-job training.Embrace the use of technology to complete work safer and more efficiently.
