The VP of IT will be responsible for defining, planning and leading the execution of IT initiatives to support ReVision’s business strategy. The VP of IT will be responsible for ReVision’s IT Roadmap, which specifies priority IT initiatives that will support ReVision’s business growth. This position will be responsible for leading ReVision’s IT governance process, including how ReVision plans for and makes decisions related to technology and manages changes to its IT environment. The VP of IT will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, enhancement, stabilization and optimization of all critical business applications that support ReVision’s data, business process and reporting- including CRM, Project Management, ERP, HRIS, and Business Intelligence. This role will also be responsible for leading initiatives related to how ReVision manages and stores data and shares information both internall and externally to optimize data security and accessibility, as well as overseeing IT network and infrastructure initiatives. The VP of IT is a member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will be responsible for a team of ten full-time employees and will directly supervise two managers, one focused on Network and Infrastructure and the other focused on Business Applications. This role will be responsible for mentoring, training and supporting the IT team. A key focus is assisting the team both strategically and tactically, while being willing to participate directly in the execution of work, as needed. The VP of IT will be required to report to the South Portland office regularly for upfront training and periodically thereafter for ongoing team building.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, plans, executes and maintains all initiatives on ReVision’s IT roadmap to support the business strategy:
Provides IT leadership to support the company’s culture, mission and values.
Partners with the business leaders to understand the business strategy and develops the IT strategy to support business growth.
Optimizes ReVision’s IT governance model, including facilitation of the IT Steering Committee and participation in business leadership.
Leads all IT communication strategies to the business.
Prepares long and short-term IT system, infrastructure, network and application plan consistent with the business and IT strategy (IT Roadmap), including:
Understanding the business needs
Integrating new IT solutions into the overall application and infrastructure landscape
Documentation of project plans for each initiative
Assigning and managing IT resources to support plans
 Assuring responsiveness of long-range plans to corporate objectives.
Designs, implements and maintains IT systems and solutions with an emphasis on user adoption, end user and IT training, efficiency, data flow and internal customer service.
Ensures business continuity with systems, solutions and staffing, including documentation of current systems, system lifecycle plans, business continuity plans and succession plans for key staff.
Ensures IT systems are regularly audited/evaluated by third parties and that all applicable recommendations are addressed, and best practices are in place.
Plans Information Technology:
Stays current with all relevant IT market developments, brings new ideas and approaches to the attention of company leadership.
Researches IT product options, consults with staff, vendors and contractors, and complies with ReVision IT product due diligence and vendor management policies and procedures.
Selects IT products, vendors and consultants to meet IT and business needs.
Prepares annual IT expense budget and periodic IT expense forecasts.
Leads implementation, optimization and maintenance of new IT products and systems including infrastructure and business applications with a focus on effectiveness, efficiency and security.
Ensures compliance of all IT initiatives with relevant licensing, security, regulatory or other requirements.
Defines and executes IT product and system installation and testing plans, troubleshoots systems and documents post-implementation support plans.
Leads/manages IT Team with an emphasis on human-centered, servant leadership:
Seeks to understand each team member’s strengths and opportunities for growth, plays to each team member’s strengths, develops each team member, coaches, mentors and develops team talent.
Matches talent to task within the IT team to appropriately resource each initiative on the IT Roadmap and collaborates with business leadership to allocate appropriate business resources to each initiative on the IT Roadmap.
Clearly defines and communicates roles and responsibilities of each IT and business resource assigned to each project, holds team accountable for performance.
Organizes a project management framework for the business and the IT team, communicates the framework clearly and applies the framework to each initiative on the IT Roadmap.
Develops and sets IT team key performance indicators for each team and role, measures team success.
Leads IT Team quarterly goal-setting meeting to align with priorities on the IT Roadmap
Leads IT Team weekly tactical meeting and participates in IT Applications and IT Infrastructure weekly sub-team tactical meetings to support the execution of ongoing IT initiatives and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Provides training oversight and assists with IT Training plan for IT team and end users.
Oversees the Helpdesk function with an emphasis on internal customer satisfaction
Manages the IT General Control Framework for the organization:
Leads the development and adoption of a formal security framework based on the organization’s risk profile, completes a periodic risk assessment, implements recommendations.
Document formal policies and procedures including critical IT controls.
Documents and maintains a formal Business Continuity Plan and corresponding Disaster Recovery Plan.

REQUIREMENTS:
10 or more years of relevant experience, 5-7 of which must include IT management
3-5 years of experience developing, and leading the execution of an IT strategic planning, budgeting, governance and organization and leading the execution of

Desired

Four-year college degree with a concentration in technology, or equivalent technology experience
5+ years in energy, construction, manufacturing, or related industry.
Specific experience with Microsoft Office Platform including Office 365, Sharepoint, Dynamics CRM and PowerBI
Specific experience with NetSuite, Procore, UKG, Boomi and/or Aquera
