Cianbro is seeking a Financial Services Professional who will support multiple areas within the department. This position is part of a dynamic Corporate Financial Services team and involves significant interaction with our Corporate Finance and Project teams, and external stakeholders. The Financial Services Professional will complete a variety of assignments across multiple platforms to support the department’s needs.
Job ResponsibilitiesSupport of accounts payable transactional accounting functions for 15+ companies.Analyzing transactions and data for accuracy and trends.Developing and implementing solutions to eliminate data discrepancies.Utilizing Key Performance Indictors to identify and implement ideas for continuous improvement.Responsible for all payroll tax reporting activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. File and remit payments for local, state, and federal payroll tax returns.Support of account reconciliation process in accounts payable and payroll.Reviewing submitted W9, vendor information forms, and bank information.Creating vendors/customers by inputting data in construction management software (CMiC).Managing vendor email, requests, changes, and inquiries.Verifying vendor banking information.Identifying and mitigating potential third-party fraudulent activity.Providing outstanding customer serviceQualifications/RequirementsMinimum of five years of accounting related experience in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to clearly and concisely interface with all levels within the organization.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.A motivated self-starter with a “Can-do” attitude.Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.Ability to shift easily between priorities and projects along with managing multiple deadlines.
